There’s something about the quiet expanse of the open desert that offers such soul-curing peace. It’s not the flurry of a forest with all the sounds and motion of bugs, trees, wind, squirrels, and trees stretching swaying, and leaning their limbs, with the birds diving, and the deer and rabbits leaping. The desert is different, it’s a static calm scene of rich vibrant colors, blanketed by the slow silent motion of the expansive sky radiating in its stream of colors and patterns. The only movement is the silent shadows as they stretch and move across the vast expanse mirroring the clouds and sun above. Take that scene and add in Ginna and Dan’s bright smiles and comfortable laughs and you have so many moments worth remembering. From the outset, I could tell that they have a genuine and comfortable love for each other. A connection that is familiar and as peaceful as the desert was around them.
