I’ve been a storyteller since I was a little girl. Before I ever picked up a camera, I was on the other side of it pursuing acting and falling in love with the emotion of good storytelling.


At 19, I moved from the South to Los Angeles chasing adventure and acting jobs, and along the way, I fell in love with an up-and-coming wedding photographer. We got married, and he introduced me to a photojournalistic approach to weddings that completely changed the way I saw photography. I fell in love with storytelling all over again - on this side of the camera.
 

Whether it’s a luxury destination wedding or a tiny backyard elopement, I’m all about capturing the real emotion and joy of a wedding day — especially the little emotional moments others could easily miss. And when you combine that with beautiful light and an epic scene? That’s the photo magic I live for.


These days, my family is joyfully rooted north of Atlanta, GA, where I’m a happy, busy boy mom of 3. Though I’m based in Atlanta, I still travel back to Los Angeles often for weddings.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me on an adventure with my family (we have visited 20 National Parks together!)  or out in my garden.
