The wind blew across the grass towards the dark mountains in the distance. Addie and I hiked up the hill, the bobbing yellow wildflowers making me feel like we just stepped into a storybook. It was a bit chilly but we laughed, we waded in the tall grass, and we got just the images we were hoping for.

When Addie told me her vision for her Senior photo session, I was so excited. She had imagined more candid moments than posed, muted colors, and whimsical images that evoked emotion.

Besides getting to photograph this gorgeous girl in this magical setting, this shoot was special to me because I got to re-know this sweet girl that I met when she was quite little. Addie, getting time with you was so fun, and I had such a blast shooting your Senior portraits. You are beautiful and I am so excited for what’s ahead of you as you graduate.
