Sometimes when I drive down the freeway I imagine if all the cars and bodies, and everything disappeared and just people’s souls were floating down the freeway. Each person with loves and hates, friends and enemies, joys and worries. Each person floating down the road around me with thousands of connections tied to their person. So many souls have touched so many others, each intertwined, coming together and pulling apart as we pass through this one life God has given us.

Weddings are such special times with so many of those connections over so many years all merging together. A thousand memories and a thousand heart touches are all interwoven into one physical space.

Zach and Kiana’s wedding was such a special day. There were so many sweet stories, and cute looks, and deep hugs, all overflowing from so much below the surface history of love, and interconnection. I don’t know all those stories, but I could feel them in the air around me.

There were also four other couples there whose weddings I photographed in years past. Each of them now has a number of kids who were playing together on the dance floor. Each of those weddings was also special in its own way, and each one was another sweet connection to my past, and their past, and to Zach and Kiana.

The warmth, the love, the joy, and the smiles, are all chronicled together in such beautiful and happy moments. I feel so blessed to get to be a part of this. Thank you, friends.
