Virginia in Alabama
Bridal Portraits #1

I can’t tell you how much I LOVE these photos. I’ve been so inspired this year I decided to work on a fun new project and do a special series of bridal portraits in Alabama. The California coast and everything around Los Angeles is gorgeous and always will be. But there’s something about the “South” with the moss-covered trees, the lakes and swamps, and the overwhelming amount of green that is epic as well. There are so many spots that are just magical in every way!

A few years ago we did a whole series of bridal portraits and stylized wedding shoots at our old wedding venue in Kentucky and I can’t tell how good a time we had. All those photos were some of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken. Until now… I can’t wait to finish up the rest of these shoots we have planned and get them online.

Here are a few from one of the first sessions. Virginia is wearing a gorgeous custom-made one-of-a-kind Deborah Lindquist gown, and we did the shoot on a secret little island where the set from the Tim Burton movie “Big Fish” was. You can even see the church in the background in some of the photos from the movie town of Spectre.

Enjoy, and please let me know which photos is your favorite! I always love feedback!
