The wild vagrant in me sometimes wonders where I belong. There are so many places, and so many people, in so many seasons. 

Life is such a hodgepodge of relationships. Living, laughing, and loving…connecting, disconnecting, and re-connecting in different times, cities and circumstances. This season is a good one. Our home is in a place we love so much, with people we care about so deeply, in a season of such calm and peace. 

But over the years there have been different places, different seasons, and different people. Some are better than others. But the good people stand out and come back, and as the opportunity arises it’s always so fun to reconnect and remember, and reminisce countless good times gone by.

I met Noah at a conference nine years ago, seven years ago we spent a life-changing few months with him and his family in Honduras, 5 years ago we connected again in Los Angeles, and now, a few days ago, on the opposite end of North America in Stillwater, Minnesota just outside Minneapolis I got to do his engagement photos! Noah and his family are some of those people we hope that despite city, state, and country borders we will always know.
