Weddings are filled with such sweet moments. I often tear up, but I never know when it will happen. At Joe and Monique’s wedding, it was a few times. The first was during the “bestowing of socks”. While all the guys were getting ready Joe had gotten each one of them a unique pair of socks. Along with the socks he had a short story with some reasons he loved each guy. It was so thoughtful, sincere, and heartfelt that I teared up. Joe seems like such a great guy, and it was so cool seeing the intentionality in his friendships. 

The second moment was the speeches by two of Monique’s bridesmaids. They were also so sincere and touching, it was beautiful seeing their care for each other. I especially liked the quote from Proverbs 27:9.
